The clock is ticking

Tick tock tick tock. That’s the constant sound I hear inside my head. Time is passing me by and it doesn’t seem like there is anything I can do to slow it down. It really pisses me off because I have about a million things to do  and thanks to this new gorgeous watch I got for my birthday last week, I am constantly reminded of the minutes withering away like sand crystals in a desert storm. It has occurred to me this morning that my need to be organized and my time management skills shine through when I am at work but not when I am at home. I need to change this if I am to embark on such a CanLit journey. A to-do list will solve everything so here is what I have to do during what’s left of my week on vacation :

  1. create a reading and writing schedule;
  2. pick a date to start reading so I can start counting the days left to read my CanLit selections;
  3. contact someone from Northwest Territories and Newfoundland to get suggestions for my book selection from that province and territory; and
  4. figure out which books I have not bought yet and go buy them.

There. I feel so much better now that I have a to-do list. I have a good feeling about this. Now I will go and reward myself with a chapter from the new paranormal romance series I am reading. This stuff is like candy…no wait, it’s like chocolate…mmmm.
