When I was a kid we went to PEI and visited Green Gables and LM Montgomery’s childhood home (I think it was her birthplace) and they have some original manuscripts and furniture if I remember correctly. We went to PEI specifically to do all the Anne things because my mother wrote her thesis about Lucy Maud.

I don’t have one yet but I do plan on purchasing one soon, for precisely the reasons that you list.

Also, I would add that in addition to the library benefits, I will be able to purchase books without having to find somewhere to put them physically. I am running out of space and don’t know if I want to buy another bookshelf just yet. Moving my substantial book collection is already a trial, and I don’t expect to settle somewhere permanently for a few years.

That, and being a student and working at the same time means I have to bring a backpack full of books to the office, so I can bring them to class right after I leave work. It’s annoying. EBook reader for me!

Seems that everyone online nowaday’s are ‘Twits’ (excuse the pun) lol I’m still probably one of the die-hards that thinks the same way as you did ie that it’s pointless to tweets every little detail about your life, got to say great layout on this wp theme, keep up the good work.

I read an English translation of that book when I was in university – I assumed the translation was confusing so I’m glad to hear it’s hard to read even in the original language.

Sorry, no help I guess.

As I recall, the book made more sense as I went along (but that may have been because I had a prof explaining it to us). Hopefully you’ll get on a roll soon enough.
